About Hope for Tomorrow

Ordinary people making an extraordinary choice—to care.

Every bridge built. Every child given an opportunity to learn. Every patient cared for. Every family given hope.

Founded in 2005, Hope for Tomorrow (HFT) was built upon a simple but powerful belief: when compassion becomes action, lives can be transformed. Our work reaches communities both at home and abroad. Through healthcare services, educational assistance, critical infrastructure projects, humanitarian services, and special initiatives, we strive to address immediate needs while creating opportunities that can make a lasting difference.

But our work is about more than the projects we complete. Behind every dental mission is a person who deserves to live without pain. Behind every scholarship is a young person with a dream. Behind every infrastructure project is a community seeking greater opportunity. And behind every act of service is a reminder that no one should feel forgotten.

Just as importantly, Hope for Tomorrow seeks to inspire the next generation to discover the meaning and responsibility of service—bringing together healthcare professionals, students, volunteers, community leaders, and supporters so young people learn that true leadership begins with compassion, humility, and a willingness to help others.

Our Vision

Be the inspiration for HOPE, LOVE, and CARE through collaborative and compassionate community services.

Our Mission

How HOPE began

Three friends, one purpose

In March 2005, three friends—Dr. Ngoc Chu, My-Lac Hoang, and Chau Nguyen—participated in a medical and dental mission to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They saw firsthand how basic healthcare, compassion, and the willingness to serve could bring dignity and hope to people facing difficult circumstances. They returned home inspired by a question: What more can we do?

Later that year, with the guidance and assistance of Mr. Tran Van Ca of Vietnam Assistance for the Handicapped, the first official Hope for Tomorrow Medical & Dental Mission—HOPE Mission #1—was organized in Da Nang, Vietnam.

From that first mission, HOPE grew organically through a network of friends, families, volunteers, healthcare professionals, donors, sponsors, partners, and supporters. Each person brought a skill, a helping hand, or a generous heart.

Three friends. One mission. Thousands of lives touched.

Letter from the President

What does HOPE truly look like?

Dear Friends, Volunteers, Donors, Sponsors, Partners, and Supporters,

Over the years, I have learned that hope is not simply something we feel. Hope is something we create together. Hope is the volunteer who gives their time to serve others. It is the donor or sponsor whose generosity becomes healthcare, education, clean water, or opportunity. It is the partner who opens doors and the young person who discovers the power of compassion through service.

Most importantly, hope is reflected in the people we serve—in the smile of a child who sees new possibilities, the relief of a parent who knows someone cares, and the gratitude of a patient who knows their health and dignity matter. These moments define Hope for Tomorrow, and they are possible because of you.

There are more communities to reach, students to inspire, and families to support. Together, we will continue to inspire HOPE, share LOVE, and extend CARE.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Dr. Quyen Dang
