Responding to emerging community needs

Tết 2026

5,000+ Lunar New Year gift packages

Tết is a cherished celebration of family, tradition, and new beginnings—yet for families facing hardship, celebrating can be difficult. In 2026, our team distributed more than 5,000 Tết gift packages to underprivileged families throughout Vietnam.

Every gift carried a heartfelt message: You are remembered. You are valued. You are not alone.

Helping communities recover and rebuild

In 2025–2026, HOPE responded to communities devastated by typhoons. More than 15,000 gift packages were distributed, including cash, food, clothing, medicine, and household essentials—along with computers, televisions, seeds, trees, hens, and chickens to help families rebuild their livelihoods.

HOPE also supported the restoration of water filtration systems, schools, and bridges, bringing clean water, education, and safe transportation back to affected villages.

Proving HOPE through clean water

Clean water changes everything

Clean water is essential to health, education, opportunity, and dignity. After the typhoon, water sources families had depended on for generations were damaged or contaminated.

Working with local communities, HOPE supported the construction and installation of water filtration systems at schools, providing children, families, and surrounding villages with reliable access to clean drinking water.

Every drop of clean water represents health, dignity, resilience, and the promise of recovery.

Building Bridges

Connecting children to education

Across rural Vietnam, especially in the Mekong Delta, families have relied on cầu khỉ, or “monkey bridges”—narrow crossings of bamboo or wood—that become hazardous in the monsoon season.

Through our Bridge Project, HFT works with local communities to replace aging monkey bridges and unsafe footpaths with stronger bridges of concrete and steel—dependable connections to schools, markets, healthcare, and neighboring communities.

Every bridge we build connects more than two shores.
