International Missions

2026 Mission to Pờ Tó, Gia Lai, Vietnam

Since 2005, international dental and medical missions have been central to HOPE—beginning in Da Nang and continuing to provide free, essential healthcare in Vietnam and Cambodia with partners including the Order of St. Camillus and Sun for Life.

In 2026, Hope for Tomorrow, in partnership with Sun For Life, brought together nearly 300 volunteers from Vietnam and the United States for a Medical, Dental & Vision Mission in Pờ Tó, Gia Lai, Vietnam.

During two full clinical days, our medical teams provided more than 3,000 patient services, including examinations, consultations, and medications. Hundreds of patients received dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care, with 505 dental patients treated on the first day alone. Our vision team served more than 500 patients on the first day, providing eye examinations and eyeglasses.

More than 50 tons of food, medicine, equipment, and gifts were coordinated for the mission, including three trucks carrying dental and vision equipment. A dedicated kitchen and logistics team traveled from Saigon to Gia Lai, and before reaching Gia Lai, team members also cared for children at Mái Ấm Vi Hoàng in Saigon.

Free Dental Clinic, May 2, 2026: A Day of HOPE, LOVE & CARE

Since our first domestic dental mission in 2013, HOPE has conducted 23 free dental missions in the DMV region and Texas—serving more than 3,500 patients with approximately $2.5 million in donated services.

Volunteers at the Sterling Community Center dental clinic

On May 2, 2026, more than 150 volunteers transformed the Sterling Community Center in Loudoun County, Virginia, into a full-service dental clinic and cared for 188 patients.

From examinations and diagnosis to periodontics, restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery, our clinical teams delivered $122,981 in dental services—completely free of charge.

We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, sponsor, donor, patient, and Loudoun County Health and Human Services for making this day possible.

Building Smiles, Restoring Dignity

HOPE’s free dental clinics in Vietnam

No one should have to live in pain simply because they cannot afford dental care. To create year-round access to oral healthcare, HOPE has helped establish three free dental clinics:

  1. Nha Khoa Theresa, Kênh 7 Humanitarian Medical Clinic, Rạch Giá — est. 2022
  2. Nha Khoa Phú Thượng, St. Paul Humanitarian Medical Clinic, Quảng Nam — est. 2024
  3. Nha Khoa Kim Long, Kim Long Humanitarian Medical Clinic, Huế — est. 2025

Patients receive exams, cleanings, fluoride, fillings, extractions, root canals and more—free of charge—through collaboration with local professionals, the Camillian Order, St. Paul Order, the Sisters at Kim Long Clinic, and the family of Dr. Bich Loc Nguyen.

Education Assistance Program

Creating opportunity through HOPE, LOVE & CARE

Through scholarships and academic assistance, HFT supports undergraduate, graduate, and technical school students, with emphasis on those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

We offer HOPE by helping students believe their circumstances do not define their future. We demonstrate LOVE by investing in each student as a person, through encouragement and mentoring. And we show CARE by working with trusted partners—VietHope, Viet Toc Foundation, VietCorps, Perspective Charity, Sun for Life and others—to identify deserving students.
