Hope MicroFinance Mission

The Hope for Tomorrow Micro Finance (HOPE MIFI) mission is to provide working capital to women in the lowest income brackets in Vietnam and other developing countries so they can engage in income-producing activities to better their lives and the lives of their family.

HOPEMIFI works closely with L’Association Vietnam Entraide et Solidarité in Paris, France to provide micro finance loans. The HOPEMIFI team provides technical and financial support while L’Association Vietnam Entraide et Solidarité provides management and administration of the program.

The microfinance repayment rate is between 95% – 97%. Sometimes the lender cannot repay the loan due to unexpected situations like death in the family, illness or economic hardship. In the future, HOPEMIFI will provide loans to 20 borrowers. Each loan will be approximately $650 for a period of two years.
